China Boton Group was founded in 1991 in Shenzhen and was formerly known as Shenzhen Boton Flavors and Fragrances Co., Ltd. The Group was listed on the main board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2005 (Stock Code: 3318.HK). It is the first Chinese company in the flavor and fragrance industry that is listed in HKEX. After years of development, Boton has developed four core business sectors, flavor and fragrance industry, E-cigarette industry, health industry as well as brand operation and management.

Boton has several national high-tech enterprises, CNAS laboratories, provincial technical centers and also a post-doctoral innovation practice base. Boton has united many prestigious universities in China (CAS, CAU, SCUT, JNU, HZAU, SIT, etc.) to form a research and development platform, and also set up a PhD teaching station in flavor chemistry. Senior technicians account for 65% of the total employees. Meanwhile, the Group also becomes one of the industry standard makers. Some of these research topics have also won various technical awards (such as Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award) and thousands of international PCT and domestic patents.
Boton has established high-tech and eco-friendly manufacturing bases in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Hubei, Yunnan, Jiangxi, Huizhou, and other places. The business layout covers Guangdong, Jiangxi, Hubei, Fujian, Henan, Anhui, Guizhou, Tibet and other major provinces across the country, and also has expanded to Southeast Asia, South Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe, North America and other countries.
